Researchers in China have developed the Xtomo-Cube, a portable CT scanner weighing 6kg and consuming about 200 watts. The device is designed to create detailed internal s of small fossils, archaeological relics and other objects in the field, while its open settings and raw data could support teaching and laboratory research.
