Fadnavis says Maharashtra borrows below its RBI limit to protect fiscal health
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the state has never defaulted and does not borrow up to the full limit set by the Reserve Bank of India. He said the state takes ₹1,00,000 crore when the annual borrowing limit is ₹1,40,000 crore, linking that approach to controlled fiscal health.
