Trump plans AI Force and new adviser as US-China tech rivalry grows
US President Donald Trump says he plans to appoint an artificial intelligence adviser, or “AI tsar”, and create an “AI force”. He has offered no details on how either initiative would work, while insisting that his administration will support the industry and rely on existing justice systems to address wrongdoing.
