Ukraine launches Army of Robots to take on high-risk battlefield missions and protect troops
Ukraine has launched an Army of Robots initiative aimed at shifting dangerous battlefield duties away from soldiers. Former Ukrainian official Mykhailo Fedorov unveiled the programme at the IT Arena 2026 conference in Lviv, while inviting defence technology companies, engineers and a technical lead to help build it.
