Uttarakhand rescues 40 of 136 Uttarkashi trekkers as others continue their trek
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said 40 of 136 trekkers from Uttarkashi were rescued today. Another 30-40 trekkers signaled helicopters that they wanted to continue their trek, while about 20 trekkers were expected to descend, according to the statement made in Dehradun.
