Govt bars charges on RuPay debit card and UPI payments up to Rs 2,000
A Gazette of India notification issued under section 10A of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 prohibits banks and system providers from charging people who make or receive payments through RuPay-powered debit cards and UPI for transactions up to Rs 2,000.
