NCPCR issued Meta notice over CSEAM ads; company replied a week later
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights issued Meta a notice on 3rd July 2026 over advertisements involving child sexual exploitative and abuse material, according to government sources. Meta submitted its response a week later, while later reports said the company agreed to report child safety cases to Indian authorities.
