Iran President Rejects Claims of Plot to Kill Trump and His Family
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has rejected US allegations that Tehran plotted to assassinate Donald Trump or members of his family. Speaking with journalists in New York, he said targeting them had never been government policy, while also discussing sanctions, economic pressure, diplomacy and a possible reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
