Gandak River floods 3 Maharajganj villages after Nepal water release, rain affects 5,000
The Gandak River has risen in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, after water was released from Nepal alongside continuous rainfall in the hills. Floodwaters have entered 3 villages and affected around 5,000 people, while the administration is responding with help from the State Disaster Response Force.
