NPS Tatkal to bring pension accounts to UPI as PFRDA targets 2-3 crore subscribers
PFRDA Chairperson Sivasubramanian Ramann said NPS Tatkal will let users open National Pension Scheme accounts and make contributions through UPI providers. The regulator expects the digital, 3-click process to help expand NPS, particularly among informal-sector workers, with 2-3 crore new subscribers possible over the next 2 years.
