ACs, TVs, washing machines and fridges set to cost more from 1 October 2026
Consumer electronics companies are preparing to raise prices by up to 8% from 1 October, citing higher copper, steel, aluminium and crude oil-linked input costs along with currency fluctuations. AC prices are expected to rise first, while older inventory may keep festive-season purchases at existing prices until after Diwali.
