PM E-DRIVE backs EV adoption as India's share rises to 8.26% in FY2025-26
Electric vehicle adoption has climbed from 0.08% in FY2015-16 to 8.26% in FY2025-26, according to All India Radio News. The PM E-DRIVE Scheme is supporting the transition through demand incentives and charging infrastructure, while its reported achievements include support for about 28.30 lakh EVs and allocations for electric buses in 7 major cities.
