Tesla CEO Elon Musk called Chinese President Xi Jinping a “great leader” and praised China's manufacturing sector and artificial intelligence models in an interview with state broadcaster CCTV. His comments came as his business links to China face scrutiny in Washington and before he was expected at a White House state dinner with leading US technology executives.
