Ganga rises 5 cm above warning level in Rishikesh as heavy rain blocks highway
The Ganga has risen 5 centimetres above the warning level in Rishikesh after continuous heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand's hills. Rishikesh Jal Police personnel are making repeated announcements at the ghats for devotees and visitors, while related coverage reports that the Badrinath-Rishikesh Highway has been blocked because of heavy rain.
