9 killed as sleeper AC bus catches fire near Yamuna Expressway in Noida
A private sleeper AC bus carrying 35 passengers caught fire near Dayanatpur village on the Yamuna Expressway, about 2 km from Jewar Airport. 9 passengers died, while others escaped by breaking windows. Fire crews extinguished the blaze in 45 minutes, but the bus was completely destroyed and the victims' identities remained difficult to establish.
