BRICS summit: India secures joint declaration, Pahalgam condemnation and Iran-UAE talks
India used the BRICS summit in New Delhi to secure a unanimous joint declaration, condemnation of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and a meeting between Iran and the UAE. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held 15 formal bilateral meetings as India sought to keep the grouping focused on Global South priorities amid wars and geopolitical disagreements.
