Mumbai region auto and taxi fares to rise, minimum charges set at Rs 27 and Rs 33
Passengers across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region will pay higher minimum fares for autorickshaws and black-and-yellow taxis from Tuesday. The revised minimum charge will be Rs 27 for an autorickshaw and Rs 33 for a taxi, according to officials, increasing the cost of short trips for commuters.
