The India Meteorological Department recorded very heavy rainfall over Bihar, Haryana, Jammu-Kashmir & Ladakh, East Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. Heavy rainfall was also recorded across several subdivisions in eastern, northern and northeastern India during the past 24 hours ending at 0830 IST on 29-08-2026.
