Heavy rain and storms forecast across 20 states from 8 September, winds up to 80 kmph
The India Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds across several parts of India from 8 to 11 September. Mountain regions face a landslide warning, while eastern states may see lightning, rising river levels and weather linked to conditions over the Bay of Bengal.
