Delhi notifies Fire Service Amendment Rules, 2026 to update building safety standards
The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has notified the Delhi Fire Service (Amendment) Rules, 2026. The notification was issued by the Lieutenant Governor under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2007, and links building fire-safety standards with the updated Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2016.
