Uttar Pradesh faces heavy to very heavy rain on 7-8 September as monsoon strengthens
A low-pressure area over central Uttar Pradesh has intensified monsoon activity across the state, bringing a risk of heavy to very heavy rain, thunderstorms and lightning. Bareilly recorded 38 cm and Bahraich 18 cm in the past 24 hours, while farmers and residents have been urged to take precautions.
