Eastern Railway cancels trains after land subsidence near New Farakka
Eastern Railway has cancelled multiple train services starting September 4 and September 5 after land subsidence was reported near New Farakka station in Malda Division. The disruption affects routes linking North Bengal and neighbouring regions with Kolkata and Howrah, including several Express, Shatabdi, Vande Bharat and local services.
