Delhi H1N1 cases reach 1777 as antigenic drift and monsoon raise concern
Delhi has recorded 1777 H1N1 cases this year, prompting a review meeting involving Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Delhi government officials. Dr Randeep Guleria said antigenic drift may help the virus evade existing immunity, while monsoon conditions are supporting its spread. Most patients recover at home or in general wards, but vulnerable groups face greater risk.
