A pistol carried by an Azamgarh passenger travelling to Mumbai on an Air India flight discharged during checks at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. The bullet struck a male staff member’s hand and a female staff member’s thigh. Both were taken to a private hospital in Harhua, where their condition was reported as normal.
